Ibn Battuta Mall
The Ibn Battuta Mall is a shopping mall themed around the journeys of the Moroccan explorer, Ibn Battuta. The mall’s 6 courts are themed around the areas that most influenced the 14th century adventurer; China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia and Andalusia.

in the upcoming Atlantis Hotel in the Palm. The world’s first snow dome at the Mall of the Emirates or the Ibn Batuta Mall named
after thel egendary traveler Ibn Batuta are also universal draws. More often than not, shopping entails much more than just a retail therapeutic experience. It’s a way of lifestyle, a recreation and a
lifeline that most find hard to resist. Here you can snowboard, take a sauna slump in front of an IMAZ screen or even take a session
at an aroma therapy session. There seems to be no end to the amount of malls that are mushrooming throughout the city. With giant
malls serving as complete entertainment centers, it is easy to wile away an entire day hopping from shop to shop until closing time
which is not before 10 p.m.
As an open port with low import duties, the retail prices in the city are relatively competitive and being tax-free, many top-branded
products are less expensive in Dubai than in their country of origin.
Shoppers are spoilt for choice as the myriad of souqs, shopping malls and boutiques across the city offer Parisian haute coutre, hi-
tech electronics from Japan and cultural treasures from the region.
